This was an intimate event where the audience asked questions and the panelists responded to them. The inquiries were about a variety of matters such as addiction, healing, grief, taking medication, marriage, sexual relationships, and family matters. We shared based on our professional knowledge and personal experiences.

This was a great event for the Founder/Executive Director Dr. Viva White to share information and represent Balm In Gilead Community Services, Inc. Items representing the organization were also shared, post-it notes, combs, and business card holders.

Something to leave with those who are reading this post, continually assess yourself to determine which masks are you wearing and which ones are you hiding behind. Wearing and hiding are 2 different things. Yes, it is hard and challenging work to self-assess but it is necessary work. However, consistency is better than progress. So, keep pushing and going through to get through.
